We are strategically focused on leveraging and utilizing our proprietary and patented graphene products and applications to revolutionize the power, capacity, and cost-efficiency of existing water filtration technologies.

We are a world-class team of scientists, water experts, company founders and senior executives with a track record of creating shareholder value with more than $1 billion in raises and exits.

VISION

At Purafy, we believe in a world where clean water is accessible to all.

We want to make this vision a reality by working with partners worldwide to apply cutting-edge materials and innovations in nanotechnology to manufacture and distribute robust and effective water filtration systems for commercial and residential use.

At Purafy, we believe in three core values:

  • Everyone should have access to clean drinking water.
  • We maintain that access should be safe, trusted and secure.
  • We believe that an immediate focus on water conservation is required to meet the imminent scarcity of fresh water.

MISSION

Lack of access to clean, safe drinking water is a massive global challenge affecting hundreds of millions of people.

By 2025, the WHO predicts that half the world’s population will be living in water-stressed conditions.

In Canada, the average adult uses over 300 litres of clean water every day.

Yet boil-water advisories in Canada and the US have been plaguing communities for decades and continue today.

As if these statistics were not scary enough, water supply can be suddenly interrupted by a natural disaster, and the possibility of attacking the water supply of communities as an act of bioterrorism is a genuine threat in many parts of the world.

The world is ready for a leader in filtration technology that will provide clean, safe water.

KEY INDUSTRY PARTNERS

Modern Niagara

Purafy has a pending business partnership with Modern Niagara, a contracting company with national reach specializing in mechanical, electrical, and building control systems to owners, managers and general contractors.

Modern Niagara is an engineering and manufacturing collaborator on the PORTAGE water treatment system. A partnership with Modern Niagara is a crucial component of our commercialization strategy for these solutions.

iSTORM

We are currently working with iSTORM to integrate communications and data analytics software in our Purafy mobile App that will track the performance of the PORTAGE filtration system.

De.mem Ltd.

An Australian-based and publicly-listed multinational de-centralized water and wastewater treatment company has executed a Memorandum of understanding (MOU) titled ‘Business Development Strategy’ with our company as of October 2020.

Neither party is contractually or legally obligated to commitments outlined by the MOU; however it generally captures a collaborative strategy to have Purafy introduce De.mem products to North America as a distributor, to supply graphene oxide to De.mem for its production of ultrafiltration hollow-fiber membranes and have De.mem interested in distributing Purafy’s technologies and products in the Australia/Pacific region where they currently operate.

St Lawrence River Institute (SLRI)

The SLRI is a non‐governmental organization (NGO) established in 1994 as a unique community partnership between governments, educators, business and industry, and the Mohawks of Akwesasne. With the St. Lawrence River as its natural laboratory, it has earned an international reputation for research excellence. Its scientific work contributes locally, nationally, and internationally to the greater understanding of how large river ecosystems and their components function.

An agreement with SLRI is strategic to the commercialization of our products regarding longevity testing and performance validation. SLRI will also be an important partner for any precursor testing of certification protocols before moving future products to a body such as the NSF for certifications. SLRI is an educational body in the province of Ontario for water knowledge and water research. They can be consulted on our products from a technical point of view for Purafy to establish credibility in our solutions.

The Contaminants of Emerging Concern – Research Excellence Network (CEC-REN), Queen’s University

The Contaminants of Emerging Concern-Research Excellence Network (CEC-REN) at Queen’s University, is an interdisciplinary research & innovation initiative. CEC-REN is focused on the detection & treatment of emerging contaminants in the natural and built environment, that pose environmental & human health risk. Currently, our affiliated research programs have received ~$20 million in funding, which is a substantial investment in environmental research which address the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
